Crew Opportunities
Ocean Roamer is built around collaboration, curiosity and a shared commitment to the ocean. From time to time, we welcome additional crew to join us on expeditions to support fieldwork, sailing operations and life on board.
Opportunities may include roles for:
Research assistants and early-career scientists
Expedition crew and competent sailors
Photographers, filmmakers and storytellers
Individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in remote field research and expedition logistics
Crew roles vary by expedition and are typically project-based. Some positions may be funded, while others may be volunteer or part-funded depending on the nature of the project and available resources.

A genuine interest in ocean science, conservation or storytelling
A positive, adaptable attitude to life at sea
Relevant experience or a strong willingness to learn
Respect for teamwork, safety and the marine environment
